Lynn Dowd, Ed.S., ICVE, is an Internationally Certified Vocational Evaluator with over three decades of expertise. As the founder of Careerworks, Inc., she offers personalized career assessment and planning services for individuals, as well as expert training and consultation for businesses, educational institutions, and non-profits. A former instructor at The George Washington University, where she earned both her Master’s and Education Specialist degrees, Lynn has been a thought leader in vocational evaluation and career assessment.
She served as President of the International Vocational Evaluation and Career Assessment Professionals Association (VECAP) and coauthored their visionary Blueprint for the Future. A passionate contributor to the field, Lynn continues to serve on VECAP’s Credentialing and Standards committees, shaping the profession’s future. Her work includes authoring the Career Priorities Profile, the O*NET Picture Interest Profiler, and serving as a senior editor of the VECAP Dictionary of Vocational Evaluation and Career Assessment.
